Become a Road Scholar Program Leader

Inspire Lifelong Learning Through Travel
Do you love learning, travel and connecting with people? As a Program Leader, you’ll connect curious adults with meaningful learning adventures — and make a lasting impact along the way.

What is a Road Scholar Program Leader?
Program Leaders are the heart of every Road Scholar educational travel experience. You’ll use your tour-directing experience to lead engaging, educational programs designed for curious adults. With your warmth, professionalism and insight, you’ll help bring Road Scholar’s learning adventures to life.

You’ll bring your tour director certification and group leadership experience to this role, adapting your skills to align with Road Scholar’s educational mission and values. Program Leaders work with adults ages 50+ on domestic or international programs, guiding immersive learning adventures in partnership with expert speakers, local guides and operations teams.
Note: We prioritize candidates who are local to the destinations where programs operate, as your regional insight and presence are essential to the participant experience.
