After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.
In order to enter Mexico as a U.S. citizen, you need to have one tourist migratory form (FM-T) per person. (The cost of the FM-T is included in airfare.) These forms are obtained at the first port of entry, at the borders, or at Mexican consulates and embassies. Keep the FM-T in your possession at all times and return to authorities before leaving Mexico. Procedures for obtaining the FM-T vary with the nationality of each visitor. Request the requirements for your nationality in any of the Mexican Consulates or Embassies in your respective countries.
A passport is required for this program. It must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at Hotel NH Mexico City Centro Histórico in Mexico City, D.F.
Start of Trip: 3:00 p.m. hotel check-in; 6:30 p.m. Program Registration; 7:00 p.m. Welcome Dinner; Day 2 8:30 a.m. Orientation.
Getting to the site: Independent Airport Taxi Transfer Instructions: NOTE: Please inform our Geronimo office if you plan to transfer with a taxi by sending an email no later than 30 days before the program starts to reservations@geronimotravel.com 1. Arrival at the Benito Juarez International Airport 2. Proceed through Immigration, Baggage Claim & Customs 3. Proceed to the area outside the arrival gate. 4. Locate a Taxi Booth inside the airport to purchase a ticket that provides you a ride in a government sealed taxi, the fare to the hotel is approximately $15.00US 5. Show the flyer with hotel information to the Taxi Driver. (Found in the #2 mailed packet) 6. Transfer to the hotel 7. If the service warrants, you may wish to tip the driver 8. The Special Transportation Service will be waiting, displaying a banner with your name 6. Transfer to the hotel 7. Make the transfer payment to the representative upon arrival to the hotel (Approx. $40.00US). If the service warrants, you may wish to tip the driver. 8. Hotel Check-In

End of Trip: 9:00 a.m. after breakfast; 12:00 Noon hotel check-out.
Getting to the airport: The Group Leader will coordinate the airport transfers for participants that purchased the airfare through Road Scholar. At the end of the program, Program Only Option Participants that purchased their own airfare can receive help from the program staff in making arrangements back to the airport, knowing that the cost of the transfer is their own responsibility. Taxis to the airport are available. The cost is about 300 pesos per taxi ($17.00US)
Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
