From the Port Authority terminal in New York, take Martz Trailways to Stroudsburg/Delaware Water Gap. Once you arrive, the Shawnee Institute offers a complimentary shuttle service from Martz Bus Station in Stroudsburg/Delaware Water Gap, PA to the Inn. Roundtrip shuttle services are available to anyone who is interested in utilizing them at an additional cost of $100 per person, each way. Transportation details for Road Scholar Shawnee Shuttle: Newark Airport Shuttle (EWR) $100.00 each way 1 hr 30 min average travel time Sunday shuttle from Newark (EWR) to Shawnee departs promptly at 5:00 p.m. (arrange flights accordingly). Friday shuttle from Shawnee to Newark (EWR) departs promptly at 8:00 a.m. (arrange flights accordingly). THESE ARE THE ONLY DATES AND TIMES FOR THIS SHUTTLE SERVICE. If your registration included a "round trip airport shuttle" this service is included already. If you initially registered as "no shuttle" you can still reserve the shuttle by contacting ShawneeRoadScholar@gmail.com

Once you are at the entrance to the Resort, pass the gate house and continue straight over the bridge. The main parking lot will be on your left. The front entrance of the Inn faces the river, so drive around to th entrance portico if you need help with your luggage.

From the North: I-84 West

Take Exit 46, Milford. Turn left toward Milford at the stop. At the traffic light in Milford, go straight through and on to US Route 209 S. Follow 209 South for about 25 miles. Just past the traffic light at the elementary school, make a LEFT turn on Hollow Road. Go 4.0 miles (pass Shawnee Mountain) until Hollow Road intersects with River Road at the Shawnee Playhouse. Turn RIGHT onto River Road. The entrance to Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is 1/4 mile on your LEFT. Once you are at the entrance to the Resort, pass the gate house and continue straight over the bridge. The main parking lot will be on your left. You may either drive around to the front of the Inn and park temporarily under the portico while you unload your luggage, or you may park at the main lot first, and enter the hotel through the rear entrance.

From the East: I-80 West

Take PA Exit 310, Delaware Water Gap (immediately after toll bridge, first exit in PA). Then take the next right exit toward the PA Welcome Center. Use the TRAFFIC CIRCLE and take the SECOND exit to access River Road. Go under overpass and over railroad tracks. At stop sign proceed to the RIGHT. Stay on River Road for approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is on the RIGHT at the bottom of the hill. Once you are at the entrance to the Resort, pass the gate house and continue straight over the bridge. You may either drive around to the front of the Inn and park temporarily under the portico while you unload your luggage, or you may park at the main lot first, and enter the hotel through the rear entrance.

From the West: I-80 East

Take I-80 E to exit 310, Delaware Water Gap. Use the TRAFFIC CIRCLE and take the THIRD exit to access River Road. Go under overpass and over railroad tracks. At stop sign proceed to the RIGHT. Stay on River Road for approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is on the RIGHT at the bottom of the hill. From the South: I-95 North

I-95 N TO I-476 N. (I-76 N, then I-476 N if coming from Philadelphia Airport). On I-476 N go to US-22 E, to US-33 N, then I-80 E to PA Exit 310, Delaware Water Gap. Use the TRAFFIC CIRCLE and take the THIRD exit to access River Road. Go under overpass and over railroad tracks. At stop sign proceed to the RIGHT. Stay on River Road for approximately 1.5 miles. Start of Trip:  4:30 p.m. hotel check-in begins. Hospitality Room open for socialization until Welcome Dinner at 7:00 p.m. After dinner, meet for orientation, campus tour, program overview and first class.

Your trip ends on: Friday, November 21, 2025 in Shawnee on Delaware at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.

End of Trip: 10:30 a.m. after breakfast; 11:00 a.m. check-out..
