THIS OPTION IS FOR THOSE ENROLLED IN THE "ROUNDTRIP AIRPORT TRANSFER" ACCOMMODATION THROUGH ROAD SCHOLAR. ARRIVAL: The pick up departure will be at 3:00pm. Travel time to Chautauqua will be 1:30 hours. Chautauqua is using shuttle company to transport you to the program. A shuttle driver will meet you in the baggage claim area. The driver will have a ROAD SCHOLAR sign and will escort you to the cars/vans. Chautauqua will send you an email approximately 3 weeks before the start of the program to get information about your flights. DEPARTURE: Shuttle departs Chautauqua from the Athenaeum Hotel at 12:30pm on Friday afternoon, arriving at the Buffalo airport at approximately 2:00pm. ARRANGE FLIGHTS ACCORDINGLY and give yourself ample time to get to the shuttle from your plane, or from the shuttle to your plane. Bus/shuttle departure times are FIRM.

Free parking in an adjacent lot. Shuttle service to and from lot provided.

Pittsburgh and South

Take Interstate 79 North to Interstate 90 East through Erie. Take I-90 east toward Buffalo, and then exit onto Interstate 86 via exit 37. Proceed 20 miles east on I-86 to exit 7 - Route 33. Exit and turn left heading north. Proceed 4 miles to Route 394. Turn right onto Rte 394 and proceed 1/4 mile to Chautauqua Institution Main Gate Welcome Center entrance. Follow directional signs to the Athenaeum Hotel.

Buffalo and East

Take Interstate 90 west toward Erie and exit 60 at Westfield, NY. Turn left onto Route 394 and proceed 11 miles to Chautauqua Institution Main Gate Welcome Center entrance. Follow directional signs to the Athenaeum Hotel. Or, from Interstate 86 east, heading westbound: Exit 8, right after the bridge that spans Chautauqua Lake. Turn right and follow Route 394 approximately 6 miles to Chautauqua Institution, which will be on your right. Please enter at the Main Gate Welcome Center entrance. Follow directional signs to the Athenaeum Hotel.

Cleveland, Erie and West
