After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.
A passport is required for this program. It must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

Bring adequate supplies of all medications in their original containers, clearly labeled. Carry a signed, dated letter from the primary physician describing all medical conditions and listing all medications, including generic names. If carrying syringes or needles, be sure to carry a physician''s letter documenting their medical necessity. Pack all medications in hand luggage.
If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Start of Trip: Start: 2:00 p.m. hotel check-in; 6:00 p.m. Orientation followed by Welcome Dinner.
Getting to the site: Independent travelers can follow signs to the airport's taxi stand and take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. If you take a taxi, there is a flat rate ("tarifa plana") of 30 euros. This applies every day of the year and includes baggage, holidays and nights. Please be sure to let the driver know that you are aware of the "tarifa plana" and note that the taxi meter will not be necessary. There is an Airport Express public bus transfer from Barajas Airport to Atocha Station almost every twenty minutes and the price is 5 Euros per person. From Atocha Train Station you can take a bus or taxi to your hotel, which is a 10-minute drive. For further information on the bus schedule you can consult. http://www.emtmadrid.es/lineaAeropuerto/index.html There is also a train (C-1 Line) from Barajas Airport to Atocha Station almost every fifteen minutes and the price is 2,60 Euros per person. From Atocha Train Station you can take a bus or taxi to your hotel, which is a 10-minute drive. Getting to the site by train or bus: Renfe service (and many bus lines) runs from many major European cities to Madrid. From Atocha train station in Madrid, participants can take public transportation or a taxi to the hotel.

Getting to the airport: A transfer to the airport will be provided for all participants travelling on Road Scholar Travel Services flights. Independent travelers can take a taxi from the hotel to the airport. It will cost about 25 euros. There is an Airport Express public bus transfer from Seville city center almost every thirty minutes and the price is 4 Euros per person.The Group Leader can provide all the necessary information.
Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
