After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Start of Trip: 4:00 p.m. hotel check-in; 5:15 p.m. Program Registration followed by Orientation and Welcome Dinner.
Getting to the site: Independent travelers are responsible for arranging their own transfers. Please see the following options: Taxi Diamond - Taxi service available from Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL), Bus Terminal, Central Train Station and the starting hotel. Phone: 514-273-6331. Public Transportation - 747 Express Bus - Tickets are available at the vending machine (credit card) right after you pick up your luggage at baggage claim. The 747 will bring you to the central bus station and from there, you could take a taxi to the hotel (10 minutes). Or you could stop at St-Laurent Blvd and from there take a taxi to the hotel (5 minutes). Or you could walk South 4 blocks (last block is uphill). After crossing Notre-Dame St, you will turn left on Le Royer St. (small street) and you'll see the hotel entrance.

End of Trip: 9:00 a.m. after breakfast; 12:00 Noon hotel check-out.
Getting to the airport: Independent travelers are responsible for arranging their own transfers. Please see the following options: Taxis Coop Québec - Taxi service available from the departing hotel and Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), as well as the Gare du Palais Bus Terminal/Train Station. Phone: 418-525-5191. For those looking to travel back to Montréal at the conclusion of the program, there are two options available: Orleans Express - Motorcoach departing from Québec City Bus Terminal to Montréal Pierre Elliott Trudeal International Airport (YUL). Duration: ~4 hours. Call Customer Service at 1-888-999-3977 for details. VIA Rail - Train between Québec and downtown Montréal. Visit www.viarail.ca or call 1-888-842-7245 for information about the schedule or rates. *The train is not recommended if you are trying to catch a flight mid-afternoon. The Orleans Express is more efficient.* For either option, we recommend making reservations in advance.
Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
