After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.
Prior to flying, visitors (arriving by air) that are travelling to Bermuda need to fill out the Bermuda Arrival Card. Cruise visitors are not required to complete any entry form. The online visitor arrivals process can be completed in three easy steps: 1) Go to www.BermudaArrivalCard.com 2) Complete the form accurately and completely with visitor details 3) Download the form and present it to immigration officials for inspection There is no approval process, no fee, and once the required fields have been completed, the form is available as a downloadable link or by email. As a part of the program, you will be participating in an evening excursion with the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS.) This visit will include a lecture with a researcher, a short boat trip, and a lab based activity. Our partners at BIOS require a signed waiver for everyone prior to participation in the activities held there. Please review, sign, and return the waiver included in this information packet to bosprog@roadscholar.org prior to the start of the program. If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Start of Trip: 3:00 p.m. hotel check-in and Program Registration; 5:00 p.m. Orientation; 6:30 p.m. Welcome Dinner.
Getting to the site: Private transfer included in the cost of Road Scholar airfare if traveling on the program start and end dates.
Your trip ends on: Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in Hamilton at Grotto Bay Beach Resort
End of Trip: 10:30 a.m. after breakfast; 11:00 a.m. hotel check-out.

Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
