After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.
Pacific Islands Institute is required by their insurance carrier to obtain a Risk Release Form signed waiver from all participants for this program. Participants must sign this release form prior to participating in this program. This waiver will be included in the program preparatory materials participants will receive after enrolling in the program and must be returned prior to the program’s commencement to Pacific Islands Institute. The Snorkeling Equipment/General Health Questionnaire is also required for program participation. These 2 forms should be sent in to Pacific Islands Institute at info@pac-island.com prior to the program start. <br> Both accommodations in Fiji will require a liability waiver to be signed at check in. The waivers do not have to be signed or mailed in advance of the trip. They will be signed upon arrival.
A passport is required for this program. It must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at Beqa Lagoon Resort in Beqa Island
Start of Trip: Individual flight arrivals to Nadi International Airport (NAN) followed by 7:00 am transfer from airport to Pacific Harbor for 10:00 am boat departure for Beqa Island
Getting to the site: A group arrival transfer is organized for all participants who purchased an air inclusive program and arrive on the group date. This transfer is will depart the Nadi International Airport at 7:00 AM and is scheduled for flights arriving before 6:00 AM. Independent travelers may arrange to meet the group at: - Nadi International Airport - International Arrivals lobby to join the group vehicle transfer for no additional charge. Please meet by 6:45 am. - The marina behind The Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour for the 10:00 AM boat transfer - Beqa Lagoon Resort Independent travelers must let Road Scholar know if they plan to join the vehicle or boat transfer by emailing info@pac-island.com or calling 808-732-1999. If you are an independent traveler and miss any of the pre-planned group transfers due to flight delays, etc. there may be additional transportation fees that you will be responsible for. These transfer times are subject to change and will be confirmed in the final mailing packet mailed 5 weeks prior to program departure. If for any reason you miss the designated group transfer, please proceed to the hotel via ground transportation.
Your trip ends on: Thursday, January 29, 2026 in Rakiraki at Volivoli Beach Resort
End of Trip: 6:30 p.m. after transfer to airport.
Getting to the airport: The program includes a group transfer from Rakiraki to Nadi Airport after dinner. Public transit is not available.
Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline. Independent travelers may arrange to meet the group at: - Nadi International Airport - International Arrivals lobby to join the group vehicle transfer for no additional charge.
