After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.

We recommend all travelers visit either their personal physician or a travel health clinic 4-8 weeks before departure to determine their personal immunization needs. Morocco is declared to be Malaria-free by local health authorities. Recommended additional vaccinations: Hepatitis A. Please consult your personal physician for other recommendations. All routine vaccinations should be up to date as typical to general good health practices.
If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Start of Trip: 3:00 p.m. hotel check-in; 5:00 p.m. Orientation at the hoel .
Getting to the site: will arrive on the arrival date will automatically be provided with an arrival transfer. Participants who purchased their airfare through Road Scholar and will arrive outside the designated arrival date due to pre-program arrangements (TCA) are eligible to take advantage of the designated group’s transfer from the airport to the program’s starting location on the first scheduled day of the program. Participants need to notify Road Scholar no later than 30 days prior to departure by calling (800)-454-5768, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. ET. Participants who did not purchase airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements. You could either take grand taxi parked by the entrance of the airport. Taxi rates are usually posted by their parking lot, but if they are not, you need to set the price with the driver before you get in the taxi. You could also contact our in-country coordinator, Mrs. Malika Lemdarsaoui, at lmalika@cccl.ma to arrange for a private transfer
Getting to the site by train or bus: If your arrival is at Mohamed Vth Airport in Casablanca, trains are available check the www.oncf.ma. If you have any questions, please contact the provider.

End of Trip: a.m. group transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport
Getting to the airport: Participants who purchased their airfare through Road Scholar and will depart on the departure date will automatically be provided with a departure transfer. Participants who purchased their airfare through Road Scholar and will depart outside the designated departure date due to post-program arrangements (TCA) are eligible to take advantage of the designated group’s transfer from the program’s ending location to the airport on the last scheduled day of the program. Participants need to notify Road Scholar no later than 30 days prior to departure by calling (800)-454-5768, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. ET Participants who did not purchase airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements. Contact our in-country coordinator, Mrs. Malika Lemdarsaoui, at lmalika@cccl.ma to arrange for a private transfer or get help for arranging for a taxis transfer. Please note that participants will pay for it prior to departure
Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
