Why do 64% of people abandon their New Year’s resolutions in the first month? In this lecture, author Dr. Catherine Sanderson, a leading expert in positive psychology, will examine tools we can use to set and work towards goals. This lecture is for you if you would like to get instruction on SMART goals (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound goals) and learn why SMART goal setting pays off, how setting goals rewires the brain and, most importantly, how to actually stick with your New Year’s resolutions.
General Notes
This lecture is part of our new “Age Well” series, designed to provide valuable insights, expert guidance, and practical tools for navigating the aging journey with confidence. Your online lecture will take place live over the course of 1-2 hours. All times are listed in the EASTERN time zone. If you live in a different time zone, please adjust your schedule accordingly. This live online experience uses Zoom Webinar, an easy-to-use web video service that includes closed captioning. All you need is an Internet connection and your computer.
