Car rental is available at the airport (www.norfolkairport.com/parking-transportation/ground-transportation). Plan on a 2 1/2 hour drive from the airport to Chincoteague Island. It is highly recommended that you have a car while on the island. Chincoteague Island is a lovely step back in time, and there is no taxi service on the island. Taxi service from the airport is limited and expensive due to the distance. Please ensure you have transportation set up prior to leaving home.

All points north or south

You will be traveling either north or south on Rte 13. Turn east onto Rte. 175 at T's Corner in Oak Hall, Va. Rte 175 will bring you on to Chincoteague Island. Continue on Maddox Blvd through 2 stop lights and one traffic circle, approximately 1.5 miles. The motel is on your right.

Chincoteague Island
