Smaro Touloupa

Smaro Touloupa studied sociology and became a group leader after completing a 3-year study program at the Vocational School of Guides in Athens. She also holds an M.A. in cultural heritage studies from University College London. Smaro speaks Greek, English, and Italian fluently and has been leading groups in Greece since 1998. She has published articles in British and Greek scientific journals and books on heritage interpretation and the impact of tourism on heritage. She enjoys traveling, scuba diving, traditional stone building repairs, and cats.
