Sail through the heart of the Adriatic on this exclusive Road Scholar Floating Campus voyage. Begin in Venice, uncovering iconic landmarks like St. Mark’s Square, a hub of culture and history for centuries. Marvel at the Byzantine mosaics of Ravenna, dating back to the 5th and 6th centuries, and explore Split’s Diocletian's Palace, one of the best-preserved Roman ruins. In Dubrovnik, stroll through the UNESCO-designated Old Town, known as the Pearl of the Adriatic. Along the way, deepen your understanding with onboard instructors and connect with other Road Scholars who share your love of learning.
Activity Level
Keep the Pace
Walking uphill and downhill, up to three miles per day, on uneven terrain, cobblestone and marble streets that may be slippery. Steep stairs without railings and standing for up to four hours per day with breaks at museum/historic sites. Participants must be able to handle the gangway on the ship which isn't always level and depending on weather conditions, might be steep. NOTE: The ship does not have elevators.
